Ottawa, Canada MGIS Full time

MGIS Inc. is looking for qualified and experienced Administrative Assistants.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:

- Review and correct official documents, letters, and correspondence
- Tracking files, updating schedules & calendars, org charts and nominal role
- Capturing information using an electronic tracking system
- Proper preparation and processing of documents
- Planning and updating information for meetings, working groups and quarterly travel plans
- Taking general, not verbatim, minutes at meetings
- Editing, proofreading, and finalizing correspondence, reports, statements, invoices, forms, presentations, and other documents

**Mandatory Requirements**
- Experience as an Administrative Assistant
- Clear understanding and prior experience with an administrative support position related to the government and public service
- Must have a valid government security clearance (Reliability and/or Secret)

**Job Requirement**
- Be able to multi-task
- Meet tight deadlines
- Be familiar with general office procedures, equipment, and software
- Have a strong commitment to people, processes, policies, and confidentiality

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 48 weeks

**Salary**: $21.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ottawa, ON
