Primary Responsibilities:

- Undertake all aspects of recruitment cycle from the creation of the job description to the offer.
- Develop strong working relationships with internal clients to understand and identify current and future talent needs and advise on talent acquisition processes, activities and outcomes.
- Explore and identify current and upcoming trends in recruitment, talent management/acquisition and recommend/implement processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Participate in process improvement activities related to talent acquisition such as web site redesign, social media presence and reducing recruitment cycle time. Develop and carry out sourcing strategies using social media tools including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Identify the right sourcing channels and segments to source best-in-class talent.
- Partner closely with other recruiters and HR Advisors to leverage internal pool of talent currently on career & employment transition.
- Contribute to position evaluation and reclassification.

- Animate the Welcome day
- Provide guidance and oversight in the onboarding, orientation and probation review process. Keep track of the performance of the employee during the probation and trial period.
- Propose solutions to managers to address performance issue during that period.

Qualifications and skills

Bachelor's degree. HR certification, CHRP (CRIA, CRHA) designation is an asset. 3-5 years recruitment experience (for professional and unionized positions). Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems, knowledge of Workday is an asset. Experience in social media and sourcing. Excellent communication skills, spoken and written, both in French and English. Able to build strong collaborative working relationships with managers at all levels and within a team.

Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines and to problem-solve. Ability to show initiative while working in a structured environment.
