**Payroll Clerk / Administrative Assistant**

We are currently seeking a talented, detail-oriented, **Payroll Clerk / Administrative Assistant** to join our team in Cornwall, ON.

The Payroll Clerk /Administrative Assistant position is a supportive role for the Hydro Tech Inc organization. This position provides organizational support to the job site through the completion of union payroll and administrative tasks for all leadership and employees as required. This position is responsible for confidential and time sensitive material and must be familiar with a variety of the operation’s concepts, practices and procedures.

A strong knowledge of on-site Health and Safety practices is required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurate completion and management of union payroll and timesheet documentation.
- Accurate and timely completion of EPSCA timesheets and expense payments for applicable personnel
- Monthly time/site hours calculation including all subcontractors at site
- Maintain daily log of labour hours to specific overhaul progress/job
- Manage callouts to union halls and build relationships with union business agents
- Onboarding of new personnel, general orientation, upload qualification certificates, provide payroll information including EPSCA LOA/Travel calculation.
- Update OPG shared drives with employee qualifications
- Main conduit for deliveries to Saunders site.
- Assist with inventory control
- Make purchases of supplies and general site operation services
- Occasionally pick-up purchases in company vehicle
- Accurately manage sort, process and verify receipts, expenditures, forms and other
- documents
- Maintain Health, Safety and Environment management system records
- Assist with Purchase Orders and Procurement

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- College Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- At least 3 years of union payroll record keeping experience
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Must have superior attention to detail
- Valid Driver's License
