We’re looking for a
**Manager, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)**. The work location for this position can be across
**Canada **(Eligible for
**Fully Remote**).

**The Opportunity**:

- The
- **Manager, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)**, will:
- Support and advance the Company’s ESG program and strategy and to address developing reporting and compliance requirements.-
- Provide oversight to ensure the Company’s ESG goals, targets, and KPIs are being addressed and met.-
- Drive the Company’s ESG reporting and disclosures processes.-
- Manage the collection of all ESG-related reporting data.-
- Manage and lead the annual ESG report development.-
- Incorporate ESG reporting into existing financial disclosures, as necessary.-
- Manage the third-party ESG assurance process.-
- Have development and operational oversight of the annual ESG reporting and compliance budget.**_In this role you’ll:_**- Coordinate internal stakeholders to gather, substantiate, and disclose ESG data to align with relevant frameworks including GRI, SASB, and TCFD.-
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define metrics, goals, milestones, and performance measures for ESG strategy and programs.-
- Tactical implementation of the Company’s ESG program.-
- Oversight and tracking of the Company’s progress in meeting ESG goals, targets, and KPIs.-
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify data sources, processes, and controls for collecting ESG data. Inclusive of working with data owners to improve data collection, management, and QA processes.-
- Maintain an internal database of key qualitative and quantitative ESG metrics.-
- Manage the development and publishing of Ritchie Bros.’ annual ESG Report.-
- Monitor ESG reporting requirements and regulations and ensure compliance.-
- Manage ESG rating agency inquiries and scoring, and follow-up as required.-
- Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate ESG into financial and other disclosures.-
- Work with third-party firms to measure and manage key impacts such as GHG emissions and life cycle impact of equipment resale.-
- Provide leadership and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to advance ESG program.-
- Manage and develop junior resources as the ESG team grows.-
- Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.**_Here’s what you bring:_**- 7+ years’ experience in ESG/sustainability implementation and reporting findings experience-
- University/College degree or diploma.-
- Familiarity and experience using ESG reporting frameworks such as SASB, GRI, TCFD, CDP, and working with rating agencies such as MSCI and Sustainalytics.-
- Familiarity with Carbon Accounting procedures and methodologies-
- Familiar with Financial Reporting requirements related to ESG**_This job will require you to:_**- Use data and metrics to determine potential ESG program improvements.-
- Determine the most effective and efficient ways to meet the necessary reporting and disclosure requirements.-
- Defining RB-specific ESG program requirements via a thorough understanding of applicable requirements and regulations and working with various internal and external groups.-
- Identifying data gaps and determining the necessary verification and/or QA steps to provide necessary assurance.**What We Offer**:
