**Job Description**:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Human Resource Assistant (Youth) to join our HR team at Patry Group of Companies. This position offers a unique opportunity for a talented individual to gain hands-on experience and develop a solid foundation in the field of Human Resources.

As a Human Resource Assistant (Youth), you will provide administrative support to the HR department and contribute to various HR initiatives. You will assist in recruitment processes, employee onboarding, data management, and HR program implementation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Coordinate and participate in employee onboarding activities, including preparing new hire packages, conducting orientations, and assisting with paperwork completion.
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases with new information.
- Support HR programs and initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement surveys, and training programs.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general HR-related matters.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by the HR team.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Knowledge of HR principles and best practices is an asset.
- Previous experience in an office environment or HR-related role is preferred but not required.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
