Major Areas of Accountability
Develop business plans, which includes effective analysis of sales data, environmental scan, identification of opportunities and risks, and development and tracking execution against account plans in alignment with the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and assigned sales quota
Utilizes account penetration tactics to develop new revenue streams and successfully executes on new business
Identifies and uses various levers (i.e. Growth Incentives, Joint Marketing Agreements, etc..) to accelerate sales performance and build brand loyalty
Builds and nurtures relationships to maximize opportunities across products, platforms, and services
Implements channel strategies to increase product access and sales through regional reimbursement/patient subsidy programs
Ensures a healthy pipeline of opportunities within CRM system and closes opportunities that are of mutual value to Coloplast and the customer
Conduct regular business review meetings with targeted accounts to review KPI measurements to set priorities and identify additional growth opportunities
Conforms with Coloplast Code of Conduct and all local Compliance Standards
Basic Qualifications
BA or BS degree preferred
3+ years successful medical sales experience.
Preferred experience selling for a manufacturer or distributor of medical devices, medical disposables, or pharmaceuticals
Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight, approximately 35-40%
Proven track record of success in building and growing B2B relationships and achieving sales quotas
Solid understanding of provincial reimbursement and government subsidy programs
Demonstrated strong proficiency and accuracy in data analysis and financial/sales presentations
Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and CRM databases
Employees in this role are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID 19, meaning that 14 days have passed since they received the last shot, and maintain the effectiveness of their vaccination (e.g., obtain booster vaccinations) as may be required to maintain access to healthcare facilities or systems
