**HCA Dance + Theatre (HCA DT)** mission is to make the art of dance visible, accessible, and inclusive for all. We aim to be an incubator of artistic excellence through collaboration with artists of all genres, as a presenter of dance, and providing performance and educational opportunities. The Arts cultivate the healthy overall development of children and families and enhance the life of a community. At their core, the Arts create an environment that impacts and supports the emotional, physical, and mental wellness of a community. Dance can enrich a community for all ages, as participants and audience members; by being a resource for the development of dance artists at all stages of their careers, from hobby to the highest professional levels; and through commissioning and presenting professional dance performances.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Digital Marketing**: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement for both the Dances at the Bay Festival and Performing Arts Sunday Series.
- **Graphic Design**: Create visually appealing promotional materials, graphics, and digital assets that align with the brand identity and convey event themes effectively.
- **Web Design**: Design and maintain user-friendly, up-to-date, and engaging web pages that accurately represent the organization and its events.
- **Meta/Facebook Ad Campaigns**: Plan, implement, and analyze targeted advertising campaigns on Meta/Facebook to reach desired audiences and achieve marketing objectives.
- **Media Releases and PR Support**: Draft and distribute press releases and media kits, while also providing comprehensive support for PR initiatives to promote events and build positive relationships with media outlets.
- **Audience Identification**: Research, analyze, and identify target audiences for each event, tailoring messaging to maximize reach and impact.
- **Content Creation and Communication**: Write clear and compelling content for social media, newsletters, and other marketing channels, effectively communicating event details and enhancing brand reputation.
- **Independent Work**: Work autonomously to manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining strong communication with internal stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, graphic design, web design, and/or public relations.
- Strong knowledge of Meta/Facebook advertising and campaign management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks.
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
