Summary:
The work schedule for this position is Full Time (40 hours per week). Intermittent overtime is required for night and weekend.

**Duties**:
Conducts highly complex and sensitive criminal investigations across the entire spectrum of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) priorities. Develops, conducts, and manages investigations by identifying, developing, and maintaining host government contacts from the executive to working level across various Ministries and with private sector contacts related to investigations, intelligence, and enforcement matters. Assists the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)/HSI Attaché with a wide variety of law enforcement, intelligence, counter terrorism, and border security lines of effort and serves to bridge the gap to cultural differences to ensure long standing continuous relationships with host nation counterparts across the various ministries.

Work Experience:
Five years of progressively responsible experience in investigative work with a government law enforcement agency, or work in the realm of prosecutions with a prosecuting government agency, this must include high-level (felony) investigations and/or prosecutions is required.

Knowledge:

- Advanced knowledge of and expertise in bilateral political agreements, local law enforcement policies/procedures, judicial laws, and localized threats affecting the country’s trade, travel, finance, and national security;
- Advanced knowledge of the host country’s customs, official communication protocols, and knowledge of host countries government entities.
- Familiarity with the Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty, Letters Rogatory and INTERPOL Red Notices, country specific agreements and protocols, and international police procedures and the exchange of information on a “police-to-police” basis.

Must have a valid, current driver’s license for standard vehicles.
- Education Requirements:
Education: A university degree in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Justice Studies, Law, or Pre-Law is required.
- Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: English - Fluent in Reading/Writing/Speaking is required. **This may be tested.**
