**Communications and Marketing Manager, **9-8-8: Suicide Crisis Helpline**

**Position Description**
The Public Affairs and Communications team at the at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is seeking a full-time, permanent Communications and Marketing Manager to lead communications and marketing for the 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline (9-8-8). This position will report to the Director, Public Affairs and Communications CAMH with dotted-line reporting to 9-8-8 leadership.

This role is responsible for building, implementing, and expanding an integrated communications and marketing plan to establish and grow 9-8-8 as a national brand. The Communications and Marketing manager will work closely with multiple stakeholders and partners; develop, plan, project-manage, and supervise execution of communications and marketing campaigns, supporting 9-8-8’s strategic brand expansion and public awareness goals.

You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. This position is located at 100 Stoke Street. Occasional travel may be required provincially and nationally.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, public relations or a related field
- At least of seven years experience in a communications/Public Affairs environment with at least two years in a management position, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience Previous experience working in complex organizations or working with multiple partners or in the broader public sector or not-for-profit sectors are assets
- Demonstrated ability to write quality content in a timely manner and translate complex concepts into accessible formats
- Project management
- Proven abilities to plan, create, execute and evaluate communication strategies that engage audiences and achieve results
- Expertise in project monitoring and evaluation
- Project management and budgeting
- Capacity to think strategically and creatively is critical, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Managing direct reports and relationships with stakeholders and funders
- Knowledge of, and experience in, the mental health and suicide prevention sectors
- Bilingualism (French/ English) is an asset

**Please Note**: This full-time, permanent position is NOT part of any bargaining unit.
