We are looking for a highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to help with public health and health services research lead by Dr. Daniel Myran and Dr. Peter Tanuseputro. They will join an extremely productive team that in the past three years on average supported 20 trainees, published 35+ research articles and led grants totaling $2,000,000, per year.

**Primary roles of the applicant**:

- Complete ICES privacy and ethics documentation for research projects
- Support the development of analytical plans for research projects (e.g., ICES dataset creation plans)
- Prepare presentations, reports, abstracts, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Organize and contribute to projects and meetings with the internal team, trainees, and external collaborators

This job description is not exhaustive. Additional duties remain added as projects progress.

**Basic Requirements (Education/Experience)**:

- 3 years of experience in a clinical research environment and a postsecondary degree or diploma
- Strong training and experience in epidemiology and biostatistics
- Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Council on Harmonisation - Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
- Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data and protocol requirements
- Superior writing skills
- Strong initiative and self-direction
- Time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Flexibility to accommodate periodic demanding deadlines
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills to work with our internal team and external collaborators

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- MSc, MPH, or MAH (Epidemiology, Public Health, or something related) is preferred.
- Previous experience working with big data or in data science
- A working understanding of research using routinely collected data (e.g., ICES, CIHI, or Statistics Canada)
- Knowledge of statistical analyses
- Grant writing support experience

**Contract Details**:
This is a 1-year full-time contract with the possibility of renewal

**Salary**: Min:$32.004/hr - Max:$46.147/hr
