**JOB DESCRIPTION - OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR**

EMCO Investments is a local commercial property management and development company. We’re a modest, supportive, and collaborative team that is driven to serve our tenants and our communities. We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our team. You can expect a competitive salary, health and dental benefits, and a varied and interesting work environment.

Working closely with the management team, this administrative role is multi-faceted, responsible for maintaining our back-office functions, including bookkeeping, general administration matters, and reception duties. Furthermore, we hope you will assist in identifying and implementing process improvements, as well as completing research and providing input on projects or initiatives on an ad hoc basis.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Front-desk reception, including answering incoming calls and directing enquiries as necessary.
- Photocopying / scanning and distributing documents as necessary.
- Scheduling appointments and meetings, as required.
- Take minutes/notes at meetings, as required.
- Drafting, proof-reading and/or formatting of various internal and external documents and presentations.
- Maintaining complete accounting records for various entities.
- Maintaining detailed and organized office file system and reports
- Preparing routine correspondence to tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Addressing tenant concerns, assisting with scheduling, tracking and communication of repairs or maintenance as may be required.
- Tracking keys and access fobs for various property locations.
- Maintaining a clean, presentable, and organized office space.

To find success in this role, you must have:

- Post-secondary office administration qualification or 5+ years’ experience in an office administrator role, including experience with basic bookkeeping.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a high degree of clerical accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking and time management.
- Strong communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite and strong computer literacy. Experience with Sage is an asset.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
