**Reports to**: Client Services Manager

**Classification**: CSS2

**About the Position**:
This position will support client projects by ensuring their analytical testing needs are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner.

Specific Responsibilities
- Primary contact for assigned clients;
- Coordinate all aspects of Client Sample Submissions, including but not limited to: receiving, login, analysis, reporting, invoicing, and disposal;
- Answer client enquiries regarding, but not limited to: ALS services, capabilities, qualifications, turnaround times, pricing, sampling, and sample handling requirements;
- Communicate client requests regarding sampling supplies to the appropriate departments;
- Review sample logins including contacting clients regarding any sample integrity issues; ensuring that the correct test codes, TAT, and pricing has been applied;
- Release samples to the Lab.
- Communicate client technical, TAT, and Reporting requirements to the appropriate departments;
- Issue rechecks and corrective action reports as required;
- Ensure timely completion and transmission of final and draft client reports;
- Provide support and backup for fellow Account Managers and sample receiving/log-in area;
- Reception and office admin duties as required;
- Prepare Invoices and processing payments;
- Maintain a regular schedule of client visits when possible, including the co-ordination and participation of lunch and learns, client events;
- Report client feedback and activities to the Client Services Manager in a timely manner;
- Adhere to ALS Client Services Guidelines as provided in the Client Service Manual;
- Observe established safety regulations and comply with all ALS health and safety policies and procedures;
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal;
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Demonstrated time management skills;
- Proven ability to work under pressure;
- Detail-oriented;
- Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Word and Excel.

Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or Technical diploma in Chemistry or a related science discipline;
- At least 1 year of experience in Environmental Chemistry or related field;
- Valid unrestricted license for personal vehicle use applicable in the province/territory;
- No major driving violations and no more than two minor violations/incidents.

Physical Demands
- Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks;
- Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry for short distances;
- You may be exposed to unpleasant odours.
