**Summary**

The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge is located at the Pier Hotel at the Pier (North Vancouver) just steps away from Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver Historic Shipyards.

We are looking for an experienced food and beverage professional who is outgoing, charismatic, friendly and professional with a track record of going above and beyond for guests. We offer a close-knit team environment, competitive wages, and flexible shifts to fit within your lifestyle.

As Restaurant Supervisor you set the stage for success, providing operational support to the team, to deliver an outstanding dining experience to every one of our guests.

**Duties**
- Oversee the restaurant's daily operation, including food preparation, customer service, and staff management.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and service are maintained.
- Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints in a professional manner.
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Create an exciting atmosphere in our establishment to encourage repeat business
- Set goals and expectations for restaurant team, using performance processes to hold staff accountable for successful performance
- Ensure compliance with provincial liquor regulations and legislation.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation to the Hotel safety program
- Be health and safety conscious and involved in maintaining a safe work environment
- Complies with Pinnacle Hotel standards, policies and code of ethics

**Job Requirements**
- Must have “Serving It Right” certificate
- Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is required
- Excellent wine, spirit and beer knowledge
- Familiarity with Micros POS system and cash handling procedures is preferred
- Must be well self-motivated, responsible, organized
- Excellent communication and guest services skills
- Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate operational needs of a hotel environment.

**Physical Demands**:

- Lifting - under 20 lbs
- Carrying - over 20 lbs
- Pulling - over 20 lbs - bending, standing, reaching and kneeling.

**Job Type**:Part-time 24-32 hours per week

**Pay**: $22-$28 per hour based on experience

- 3 shifts per week with opportunities to pick up a 4th or 5th as needed
- Primarily Day shift starting at 7am

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- North Vancouver, BC V7L 0B1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
- Food and Beverage: 2 years (required)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
