The opportunity

The Bilingual Lease Expiry Coordinator is required to provide excellent customer service to our customers and business partners by coordinating and managing the lease end process. This position is responsible for providing/or assisting with training within the department when needed.

The day-to-day- Accurately update, maintain and manage information within the systems applicable to Lease Expiry i.e.: financial adjustments, account reconciliations and the appropriate terminations.- Manage and administer the process required when a lessee or vendor elects to return the equipment at the end of a lease.- Manage and administer the payout process of a lease, which includes: the collection of the balance of payments, obtain a decision to the first right of refusal on the purchase option with the appropriate party, provide the required return authorization documents and manage the return of the equipment to the appropriate liquidator.- Understand and communicate all terms and conditions of a customer’s lease or rental contract in a professional manner.- Understand and communicate with clarity all of the expiry options available (purchase, monthly renewal, trade up or return).- Review and identify accounts that are coming to expiry that are delinquent and take the appropriate action to have all delinquencies cleared before expiry notification.- Identify and process customer refunds within allotted authority when required.- Contact customers and collect delinquent amounts related to buyouts, payouts and monthly renewal.

Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from.- 2 years’ previous administrative experience (or related experience) required- High school or equivalent work experience/training- Ability to resolve problems, logically, efficiently and cost effectively- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written- Canadian Business Law course would be a strong asset to the position- Prior insurance industry experience considered an asset- Bilingual (French/English) language skills are mandatory.
