**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Assisting an Immigration Consultant with complex legal matters in the areas of

Canadian immigration.

correspondence and document files.
- Contacting IRCC and other government agencies with respect to client

matters.
- Scheduling appointments/meetings.
- Creating and maintaining client case lists.
- Entering data on immigration forms (both paper and online).
- Inputting reminders, updates and saving correspondence.
- Obtaining government filing fee payments.
- Filing, faxing, scanning, and copying.
- Arranging document delivery and couriers.
- Assisting with routine correspondence.
- Performing other administrative tasks as required.
- Maintaining and overseeing all communication with clients, while

appropriately managing client expectations

**Position Specific Competencies**:

- Canadian or U.S. immigration experience.
- Be a self-starter who is capable of working both independently and in a group

setting.
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Ability to listen, empathize, build rapport and connect with prospective clients,

as well as the ability to set and manage client expectations through eective

and timely communications, thus ensuring the highest quality of customer

service and professional services
- Possess excellent oral & written skills.
- French and Any other language proficiency is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills such as, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook.
