**Overview**:
**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Greet and direct visitors in a friendly and professional manner;
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls to appropriate personnel, providing information and resources to callers as needed;
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries;
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk;
- Preparing legal/court documents and correspondence based on written instruction, verbal direction, and precedents;
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, including diarizing files;
- Assist with general practice management, including filing, scheduling meetings, and extensive work in an electronic document management program;
- Uphold confidentiality in all legal matters; and
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to work from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday in office;
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist or in an administrative or legal support role;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with document management software would be an asset;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills;
- Excellent writing skills, including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation;
- Knowledge of basic legal concepts, principles and terminology;
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion; and
- Ability to take initiative when necessary and to interact with other employees to assist them as needed.

Pay: From $37,500.00 per year
