**Job Summary**

The Accounts Payable Clerk will provide financial and administrative support to the Accounts Payable team, involving processing and general assignments. They will work to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing. Experience working with Great Plains and TMW software would be considered an asset for this role.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Process 80-100 AP invoices daily and scan supplier invoices, proof of delivery in a paperless fast paced environment.
- Analyze paperwork received, with attention to details in order to ensure information accuracy and address any discrepancies.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with internal departments and suppliers to resolve payment issues.
- Record payment of documents and recurring bank transactions using Great Plains software.
- Pay vendors; verify banking account numbers to schedule and prepare checks/EFTs/ACHs.
- Manage weekly payment cycles, including matching payments to supporting invoices and mailing out checks.
- Complete, as assigned, monthly sub-ledger and general ledger reconciliations, provide and/or review account G/L coding.
- Correspond with suppliers to verify, confirm, and input EFT banking information. Verify the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and update supplier filing and database by adding/removing/editing Factoring Company information.
- Maintain excellent communication and relationships with vendors, employees, and management.

**Job Requirements**
- 2-4 years of experience working in an Accounts Payable role
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficient with the use of a computer including Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel and Word)
- Detail oriented, organized, analytical and self-motivated.
- Time management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, and a strong team player.

**Preferred**
- Previous experience in supply chainlogistics environment would be considered an asset
- Completion of post-secondary studies in related field
- Experience working with TMW and Great Plains software
