This is truly an exciting opportunity to assume a leadership role in a growing medical/rehabilitation company to develop a larger footprint in the North American market.

We are seeking to hire a full-time **VP Business Planning (Health)** for our head office in Vancouver to assist the operations & expansion plans of the company. The role consists of directing and managing the expansion plans of the clinics and will play a vital role for the growth of our company through additional locations.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Masters or equivalent Post-Graduate University Degree
- Minimum 3 years of working in management positions in medical clinics or related fields, including but not exclusive to physiotherapy, rehabilitation or other related services
- Proven experience in adding new locations or expanding existing locations of previous businesses in which the applicant has worked in managerial roles
- Strong communication skills (Fluent in English)
- Strong Management skills
- Leadership skills
- Team player
- Comfortable in working in health and medical environment

Reporting to the CEO of the company

Duties

Assessing and mitigating significant competitive, regulatory and threats to the company’s current and future locations

Establish company’s expansion plans while approving policies and procedures for the additional locations in line with it’s mission & vision

Organize the necessary staff, departments, and resources to allocate for the new locations

Work closely with the managers and operational heads of the company to coordinate the work of the allocation of work and resources for the different departments and clinic locations

The role will also include mitigation of processes to avoid losses stemming from inadequate or failed procedures, systems or policies within the expansion projects.

The role will include management and strategy for the operations for the company’s new and future locations

Work with the department heads to monitor and evaluate the profitability of new projects

Represent the company in negotiations with potential new partners for the new expanded locations, and city and municipal offices as required within the jurisdictions that the business is operational.

Strategize and direct the company’s future expansion plans inside & outside of the province

Develop long term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with the organizations strategic plan

Working with the executive and management team of the company to plan the annual operational budget

**Salary**: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
