**BUSINESS GROWTH MANAGER**

**A 71-year-old Manufacture of Fluid Delivery Assemblies and Components for, the Aerospace; Power Generation; Oil & Gas; Nuclear; Medical; Electric and Specialty Vehicle Industries is looking for a ‘qualified’ Business Growth Manager.**

**The company is looking to **continue its expansion** **(post Covid) of its core capabilities (metal forming, high precision welding, swaging and machining) while introducing our new ‘Wet Center’ services and finishing capabilities to our current and new clients. This includes complete chemical processing; cleaning; priming and final painting/finishing for metal components and assemblies and testing and fabrication of ‘critical’ components.**

**The position requires focus, drive and determination to grow the business by achievement of objectives and targeted results.**

**This position is ideal for either a veteran business manager or for a new energetic person looking to grow into the role and with the company.**

**This position reports directly to the President of the Company and will be headquartered in Toronto.**

**QUALIFICATIONS \ SKILLSET**
- Familiarity with Aerospace/Power Generation/ Nuclear/ Specialty Automotive components, materials, specifications & programs is very helpful
- Experience with Chemical Processing, Painting and Finishing processes involved in metal component and assembly fabrication

Experience with Customer Service \ Sales \ Program Management & Customer Site Visits
- Experience with Project Management
- Able to engage with various internal departments such as: Engineering, Quality Assurance, Production, Procurement, Source\QA Inspector; and with external Trade and Industry Associations.

This is a summary of the overall function and purpose of the position.
- Operates with a high degree of independence and is responsible for the achievement of the ‘Business’ Objectives and Revenue Targets of the Company.
- Is responsible to acquire and manage in new business and increase business from current client listing.
- Expands the capabilities and technologies that the Company offer to current and new clients.
- Represent the Company on special technical committees as required.
- Focuses on Customer Service, Project Throughput, & Quality
- **Specific responsibilities include**_:

- **Customer Service**
- Ensure the client is aware of all current production processes & schedule activity. Provide a continuous interface with current work processes & facilitate on time delivery in accordance with customer requirements
- Expand customer base with new client work
- Maintain direct contact with clients, including site visits
- Assure the technical accuracy of the work is defined & achievable
- Identify or receive problems & resolve them before they become critical
- Identify opportunities to grow the business (minimum 10% per annum)
- Review & approve client related proposals & quotation preparation
- **Project Throughput**
- Assist in project\job(s) scheduling & delivery to ensure completion is in accordance to the Customer deadline(s), OTD (On Time Delivery)
- Edit / review Production & Delivery Reports and verify invoice instructions
- Ensure that monthly sales targets are met and project\job(s) are profitable
- **Quality**
- Ensure that Customer Quality Requirements & Expectations are understood, obtainable and transmitted to all staff
- Provide input to continuous improvement initiatives & process improvements
- **Training**
- Expertise to be passed onto teammates.
- Customer requirements to be transmitted to and understood by staff
- Completion & sign-off Training Records with evidence of effectiveness

**Duties and Responsibilities may be amended from time to time.**

**Compensation to be based on Fixed Annual Salary + Commission**
- **Expect Fixed Annual Salary to be in the $100,000 to $120,000 Income Range**
- **Expect Variable Commission Annual Total to range between $50,000 and $75,000.**
