**Security Operations Scheduler/ Mobile Specialist**
**Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm**
**Hourly Rate**:$24.00 per hour

**Job Summary**:
RBG Security is seeking for a full-time Operations Scheduler/mobile specialist who will be responsible for maintaining site schedules, reviewing schedules, matching available staff to posts, minimising overtime, contacting, and redeploying staff to fill book-offs, responding to schedule changes and client requests, inputting information into an automated resource system, and taking and logging calls from sites. The role also oversees the mobile team and provides guidance, training and direction for daily tasks while working with the scheduling system and updating the company payroll system team.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for ensuring strategic scheduling support for assigned verticals. This is primarily achieved through proactively addressing resource needs, filling open shifts, and reducing overtime through strategic initiatives.
- Ensure that all security guards who are scheduled into shifts are compliant with any specific contractual requirements.
- Strategically identify open shifts / open lines and schedule security guards’ resources using the provided pool of employees. Create, update, and modify work schedules for Security Guards within RBG Security.
- Work within a team-oriented environment to ensure that all scheduling needs are met.
- Process coverage cancellations and redeploy security guards into open requests.
- Strategically plan schedules to ensure effective use of resources and minimize unnecessary overtime
- Provide information to staff as requested regarding additional shifts, vacation requests, last minute book-offs, and shift availability.
- Work with the Security Operation’s Team to ensure schedules are complete and adhere to our contractual obligations.
- Work within a dynamic team environment with multiple operational stakeholders including Site Supervisors, Security Guards, CSMs, Senior Management, Human Resources and Finance Department.
- Work to develop knowledge of RBG’s contractual obligations for the Portfolio(s) that you are assigned to.
- Complete daily and weekly reports to send out to management team.
- Performs other duties as requested to assist with corporate needs.
- Ensure that all inbound calls are answered or responded to by the end of shift.
- Complete a shift summary MS Form, highlighting the specified KPI''s.
**Minimum requirements**:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with co-workers, vendors, and guests using verbal and non-verbal language.
- Work with multicultural and diverse populations.
- Present a friendly and helpful attitude for clients and co-workers.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and willingness to learn/self motivate.
- React/respond effectively under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Good understanding of security concepts and basic principles.

- Ability to meet strict deadlines and flexibility in time allocation.

- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, problem-solve, and execute solutions.
- Strategic thinking and planning to reduce turnover and overtime
**Additional Experiences Preferred**:
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, and WSIB protocols.
- Previous Administrative and Scheduling Experience.
- Working knowledge of Employment Standards Legislation and Human Rights Legislation.
- Strong organization and ability to plan logistics.
- Experience using scheduling software, administration, and security supervision platforms
