Regional Vice President **(MUST HAVE MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF MORTGAGE SALES EXPERIENCE)**

Regional Vice President of Business Development Job Responsibilities:

- **(MUST HAVE MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF MORTGAGE SALES EXPERIENCE)**
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements;
- Seeking multiple RVPs for various regions - GTA of Ontario, Eastern Ontario (Markham to Ottawa), and BC;
- RVP is focused on building market position by locating, developing, and defining business relationships
- Locates or proposes potential business opportunities by working closely with potential partners (largely mortgage brokers) and staff;
- Discovers and explores business opportunities to build a strong pipeline of growth;
- Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests;
- Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments;
- Develop, implement and maintain a strategic plan to advance sales growth of mortgage originations;
- Formulate a strategic sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets;
- Provides market feedback to the Company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and to provide an accurate pulse of the market;
- Effectively manage, support and continually update key stakeholders with key reports; and
- Other tasks as assigned

From time to time travel may be overnight to farther reaching locations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Post Secondary Education preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the mortgage industry
- Deep understanding of the mortgage broker channel and mortgage products will be viewed as an asset.
- Broker License an asset.
