Reporting to: Vice President, National Business Development

The incumbent is a member of the national sales team and is responsible for the implementation of engineering & environmental sales initiatives to support growth and new profitable products and segments aligned with the Vice President of Business Development. The successful incumbent will also have input on the direction and creation of strategic marketing, product, and branding initiatives. A strong background in engineering, risk management, insurance, claims, marketing, and/or sales is required for this role.

Provide marketing materials to clients & prospective clients to ensure alignment with the national sales strategy.Support corporate initiatives while managing daily business requirements.Track new business prospects and sales funnels, utilizing data and sales analysis for decision making.Assist the Vice President of Business Development with proposals, RFPs, presentations, and templates.Attend local and regional industry events; help coordinate events with the National Sales team.Manage client database, sales territory planning, and regular account services for Defined Clients.Attend client-facing meetings with the Vice President of National Business Development.Manage accounts and develop market share with existing customers.Be accountable for deadlines and maintain availability during core business hours nationally.Represent the organization at industry events and internal functions, promoting the Pario brand.Become a subject matter expert on Pario’s business products and remain updated on industry news.

Knowledge Required:

  • General understanding of the Property and Casualty insurance market.
  • P&C Ontario market intelligence.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Risk management expertise is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with leading loss control practices & systems / CRM designation considered an asset.

Education Required: University Degree, College Degree, CRM or CIP, or relevant industry experience.

Skills Required:

  • Sales & marketing background.
  • Claims and engineering knowledge.
  • Account management accountability.

  • Vice President, National Business Development – directly reporting to.
