**Import Manager**

Under the supervision of the V.P. Sourcing, the Import Manager will have to supervise the import team and be the link for the vendor partners, Business unit managers, quality control, graphic and logistic departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise import team project developments and costing.
- Assist in price negotiation with vendors.
- Communicate with CRO team on projects and orders.
- Working with Product Development team on new products
- Ensure proper follow through on approval of new products with Licensors.
- Guidance to import team on problem solving from sample development to shipment of order.
- Resolve issues between vendor partner, unit manager, import team.
- Negotiate claim with vendors as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Education and experience**:

- Baccalaureate in commerce and or international business.
- 3 years of experience in staff management
- 3 years of experience in Import manager with successful experience with offshore and China manufacturing.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Excellent verbal & written communication skill
- Able to work multiple files and or projects simultaneously.
- Ability to concisely and effectively to transmit message in a timely manner.
- Good problem-solving skill.

Sous la supervision du V.P. Sourcing, le gestionnaire des importations devra superviser l'équipe d'importation et faire le lien avec les partenaires fournisseurs, les responsables des unités commerciales, le contrôle de la qualité, les départements graphiques et logistiques.

**Responsabilités**:

- Superviser le développement et le chiffrage des projets de l'équipe d'importation.
- Aider à la négociation des prix avec les fournisseurs.
- Communiquer avec l'équipe CRO sur les projets et les commandes.
- Travailler avec l'équipe de développement de produits sur les nouveaux produits
- Assurer un suivi approprié de l'approbation des nouveaux produits avec les concédants de licence.
- Orienter l'équipe d'importation dans la résolution des problèmes, du développement de l'échantillon à l'expédition de la commande.
- Résoudre les problèmes entre le partenaire fournisseur, le responsable d'unité et l'équipe d'importation.
- Négocier les réclamations avec les vendeurs, si nécessaire.
- Effectuer d'autres tâches selon les besoins.

**Éducation et expérience**:

- Baccalauréat en commerce et ou en affaires internationales.
- 3 ans d'expérience dans la gestion du personnel
- 3 ans d'expérience en tant que responsable des importations avec une expérience dans la fabrication offshore et en Chine.

**Compétences et aptitudes**:

- Excellente capacité de communication verbale et écrite en anglais et français
- Capacité à travailler simultanément sur plusieurs dossiers ou projets.
- Capacité à transmettre un message de manière concise et efficace en temps voulu.
- Bonne capacité à résoudre les problèmes.
