You will be responsible for the end-to-end process for the smooth flow of goods – receiving orders, coordinating shipments, completing documentation, invoicing, and billing customers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with an international freight forwarding company and/or handling shipments of alcoholic beverages.Duties and Responsibilities:Partner with customers, vendors, and internal groups to build a solid working relationship Work with commercial department to ensure all parties are aligned Work with worldwide ocean shipments, including all geographies and multiple customers across the worldProvide professional, prompt and efficient customer service to all clientsEnsure files are completed and updated in accordance with corporate requirementsComplete thorough research for client requests to provide the most advantageous solutions based on client’s service and cost needsWork diligently to ensure quotation deadlines and shipment requirements are metMonitor shipments and respond to inquiries from clients, in a timely mannerResolve client customer service issues promptly and professionally Support and manage ongoing vendor and partner relationshipsProvide the proper documentation that is required for the alcoholic beverage industry Partner with global offices as needed Other duties as assignedPreferred candidates will have:Minimum 3 years of experience with an international freight forwarding company is preferred Hands-on knowledge of ocean import and export procedures Customer service mindset and ability to manage all stages of the shipping process Excellent English language communication skills (both oral and written)Proficiency in French preferred.
