**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the handling of all ocean / air Imports /Exports +
- Coordinate arrangements for shipment delivery
- Verify OBL and submit to transportation companies in a timely manner
- Organize required documentation for Import Ocean Air - Exports +
- Maintain and respond promptly to all incoming communications (domestic and overseas) to properly manage and control daily operations
- Confirm bookings and obtain appropriate approvals before relaying information internationally
- Book cargo with transportation companies / Agents
- Track and trace shipments daily
- Receipt of shipments in ERP system
- Ensure that invoices are processed and given to Finance for payment
- Responsible for yearly NAFTA/USMCA Certificates
- Audit customs invoices for accuracy. Analyze Tariff Rates
- file duty appeals with brokers
- Resolve invoicing, shipping, internal, problems and implement preventative measures
- Improve internal systems and procedures on an ongoing basis.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
- CITT and/or CIFFA certifications considered an asset
- Minimum 3 Plus years of international freight forwarding experience or working in a logistics environment.
- Previous Freight Forwarding Experience is an asset
- Current knowledge of international ocean/ air import/Export rules and regulations
- Canada & USA Customs experience is an asset
- Knowledge of harmonized classification is required
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with analytic approach
- Strong knowledge of computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in managing third-party logistics providers
- Ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

**Responsabilités Principales**
- Responsable de la gestion de toutes les importations/exportations maritimes/aériennes +
- Coordonner les arrangements pour la livraison des expéditions
- Vérifier OBL et soumettre aux compagnies de transport en temps opportun
- Organiser la documentation requise pour Import Ocean Air - Exportations +
- Maintenir et répondre rapidement à toutes les communications entrantes (nationales et étrangères) pour gérer et contrôler correctement les opérations quotidiennes
- Confirmer les réservations et obtenir les approbations appropriées avant de relayer l'information à l'international
- Réserver le fret auprès des compagnies de transport / Agents
- Suivre et tracer les expéditions quotidiennement
- Réceptionner les expéditions dans le système ERP
- S'assurer que les factures sont traitées et remises aux finances pour paiement
- Responsable des certificats annuels de l'ALENA/USMCA
- Vérifier l'exactitude des factures de douane. Analyser les taux tarifaires - déposer des appels de droits auprès des courtiers.
- Soutenir les demandes de ristourne de droits.
- Résoudre les problèmes de facturation, d'expédition, internes, et mettre en place des mesures préventives.
- Améliorer les systèmes et procédures internes de façon continue.
- Baccalauréat ou expérience équivalente préférée
- Certifications CITT et/ou CIFFA considérées comme un atout
- Au moins 3 ans d'expérience dans le transport de fret international ou dans un environnement logistique.
- Une expérience antérieure dans le transport de marchandises est un atout
- Connaissance actuelle des règles et réglementations internationales en matière d'importation/d'exportation maritime/aérienne
- L'expérience des douanes du Canada et des États-Unis est un atout
