Partnership Relations Intern

**Core Function**:
This position assists the Partnership Relations Manager with all aspects of business sponsorship
contracts for the Saskatoon Blades and the Saskatchewan Rush through the delivery of all required
contract elements.
**Scope and Major Responsibilities**:
**Contract Administration and Fulfillment**:
- Organize contract status, elements, ticket distribution, and other amenities
- Develop a detailed list of contacts for each team
- Continued review and adjustment to ensure all contract elements are maintained and delivered
- Assist Manager, Corporate Partnerships and Partnership Relations Manager with required tasks
related to new and existing sponsorship meetings
- Ensure all partners from both clubs are properly equipped with ticket related information
**Collaboration and Support**:
- Collect contract elements in a timely manner while working alongside Game Day team
- Understand potential sponsorship partner opportunities by researching and reviewing new
marketing elements, game day experiences, community presence, office staff quality of life and
more
- Work directly with Partnership Relations Manager to understand the fulfillment expectations of
a wide variety of business partners
- Implement an organized system to ensure all key stakeholders can consistently locate their
specific element responsibilities
- Assisting with Game Day requirements
**Networking and Communications**:
- Identifying potential business sponsorship leads
- Develop attractive partnership packages that are relevant and effective
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly communications for partners and other key
stakeholders
**Content Creation and Development**:
- Work alongside Communications and Game Day staff to collect required photos, videos, logos,
and other branding materials for partners.
- Assist in finalizing contract elements like in-game videos, rink boards, in-game prizing and more.
- Recording/Shooting any additional situations
- Writing and creating partnership proposals, meeting material, presentations, and brochures.
**Planning and Reporting**:
- Forecast partnership potential including new and repeat business
- Project and plan addition of new and the removal of stale elements
- Collect and prepare proof of performance reports monthly and seasonally
**Relationship**:
This position reports to the Partnership Relations Manager for the Saskatoon Blades and the
Saskatchewan Rush.
This position is required to work alongside with and take direction from a variety of teams and
individuals.
**Education and Formal Training**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
- Preferred to be enrolled at a qualified educational institution of higher learning.
