We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Project Coordinator to join our team at the University of Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will play a key role in the coordination and implementation of our One Health Community Partnership project.

Job Summary

The International Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the project, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders. This includes managing project documentation, coordinating logistics, preparing reports, and representing the project at meetings and events.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, based in Saskatoon, Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and experience working in international development projects. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Development Studies or International Relations, is required, along with three to five years of experience in a similar role.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the project team;
  • Manage project documentation, including reports, memos, and correspondence;
  • Coordinate logistics, including travel arrangements and meeting organization;
  • Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders, including progress reports and financial statements;
  • Represent the project at meetings and events, both locally and internationally;
  • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including team members, partners, and donors;
  • Identify and address issues that may impact project implementation;
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives;
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Development Studies or International Relations;
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in international development projects;
  • Strong background in project management, including experience with project planning, implementation, and evaluation;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written communication;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships;
  • Experience working in international development projects, preferably with Global Affairs Canada-funded projects;
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software, including Microsoft Office and project management software;
  • Ability to travel internationally, as required;
