Duties & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the collection, coding, entry of quantitative and qualitative data.
- Enter and analyze research or educational data using Microsoft Office software
- Develop and support research projects with multilevel Orthopaedic residents.
- Conduct literature reviews as related to both research and education platforms
- Develop and deliver various themed presentations and/or workshops at national and international conferences
- Management of the Program Director’s curricula vitarum as needed
- Overseeing of the Toronto Orthopaedic Boot Camp (TOBC) Program to include: resident and faculty teaching schedules, variable data collection and review, knowledge dissemination, manuscript preparation, development and implementation of resident assessment process, mapping of entrustable professional activities (EPA’s) as per the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons directive, recognition and tracking of remediation process, creation of resident reports
- Job Requirements- B.Sc. in health science or education related field required (graduate degree is an asset)
- Minimum of 3 years recent and related educational program and research experience in an academic or clinical setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and SPSS or STATA
- Working knowledge of ENTRADA and POWER programs
- Working knowledge of CANMED’s, Competency by Design (CBD)
- Understanding of curriculum design, development and implementation
- Strong work ethic; positive, client focused attitude; superior professionalism; dependability and reliability; demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding client service
- Superior written/oral communication and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; ability to effectively convey factual information and detailed explanations
- Excellent time management, organizational and self planning skills displaying flexibility by adjusting work schedules according to changing priorities, meeting demanding deadlines and producing high quality work
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions, exercise good judgment, discretion and initiative when dealing with confidential information and/or in responding to inquiries
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record
- Ability to travel
