**Job Title: Product Manager - Flooring Industry**

**Position Overview**:

- Be the product owner of the designated product line(s) and support management on needs and requests for other product lines.
- Initiate product revision through product life cycle in assigned portfolio
- Review and update the product strategy and roadmap.
- Manage from concept, to design, sample production, testing, forecast, cost, mass production, promotion, support, and finally product end of life.
- Overseeing product implementation from concept to launch
- Highly knowledgeable with products and technical details such as installation and maintenance
- Manage custom product requests including project orders, private labels, and liaison between customers, sales, team, operations team, and factories
- Closely working with sales directors, sales team and marketing to achieve company goals.
- Collaborate with the technical team on claims through the necessary and established process.
- Ensure proper technical data is received from factory.
- Develop sales tools and collateral.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Marketing and Finance
- Analyze and organize competition product information.
- Research on market trends and customer preferences.
- Communicated with sourcing team in Asian in regard to product specifications, vendor relations, and item sourcing/costing strategies.
- Manage all incoming and outgoing samples relating to factory production and development.
- Initiate and manage the process of new technical requests/specifications for all new and existing programs.
- Travel approximately 10%:Biyork manufacturing facilities in Asia and customer visit in North America.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- **3+ years in the flooring industry is a must**:

- 3+ years of experience in product management, marketing, or related roles,
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market research to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of flooring products, materials, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
