Product Development Manager

At TCL North America, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Manager to lead our Home Theater product line. This individual will be responsible for driving the development of innovative products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute product development strategies that align with the company's overall vision and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product development decisions.

Liaison and Communication:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external product development partners.
- Communicate program status and ensure timely project delivery within specifications.

Product Documentation and Support:

- Create comprehensive product documentation and reviewer's guides to facilitate internal and external product reviews and demos.
- Manage and distribute product assets for internal stakeholders and external partners.

Lifecycle Management:

- Oversee the full lifecycle of Home Theater products from concept development to market launch and eventual phase-out.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through market data analysis and direct interactions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in product development and management, specifically within the consumer electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of Home Theater products, including TVs and soundbars.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to drive product strategy and improvements.
- Experience in managing product lifecycles from concept to market launch and end-of-life.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the consumer electronics space.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within specifications.
- Ability to create compelling customer-facing content, including technical documentation and marketing materials.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to enhance customer experience and brand loyalty.
