Lufthansa InTouch is looking for a motivated English Speaking Customer Service Consultants to add to our international team of travel consultants

**Purpose of Role**:
The Customer Service Consultant Role is responsible for taking general calls from Lufthansa and Lufthansa Group passengers. The Lufthansa Group also includes SWISS, Austrian, Brussels and Eurowings airlines. Our multicultural, multilingual teams operate from seven Service Centers worldwide, providing five-star customer services to passengers flying with the Lufthansa Group. Training will be provided to ensure confidence and success when handling customer calls.

**Work Performed**:

- Taking calls from passengers with general inquiries
- Booking general flight reservations or re
- bookings
- Providing information about our products and services we offer like, seat selection, meals, pets, and check ins

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Proficiency in English written customer communication
- Strong proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated experience in de-escalating handling of complaints
- Previous experience in a customer service role asset
- Minimum high school diploma
- Solid understanding of computer systems and software
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude Take pride in conducting excellent interactions with colleagues and customers
- Willing to take part in out training program
- Able to work on our team for a minimum of 12 consecutive months
- Able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and some statutory holidays
- Must have full Availability and able to work 40hrs/week

**Additional Information**:

- You are **REQUIRED** to work in our office located, Peterborough, Ontario. Hybrid opportunities can become available after 1 year of service with the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.35 per hour
