Project Administrator

Aureus is seeking a Project Administrator to join our team in Kingston. We are looking for someone who has strong Excel and Word skills, is able to learn to understand and manage new tasks quickly, is comfortable being exposed to a variety of projects and tasks, has exceptional attention to detail abilities, can work well with a project team, who has strong written and verbal communication skills and has a team-based attitude.
This position will work with a variety of our Project Managers to help complete required tasks for our environmental clients. The position will allow for growth potential as you will be exposed to clients, consulting team members, program and project management processes, and strong project leaders. You will have the support and mentorship of our leadership and have an important role in the success of our projects.
Responsibilities may include:
- Review and enter project data.
- Develop draft templates and reports
- Support with project troubleshooting and research
- Support organizing project resources.

Aureus Solutions Inc. is a growing boutique consulting firm specializing in drinking water and wastewater consulting in the areas of systems management, operations, testing and process optimization. We support organizations across Canada, US and the Caribbean to understand and improve the water and wastewater quality through optimization of operations, maintenance, management and design processes. We have a growing team located throughout Canada, including Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.

**Capabilities**
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word;
- Strong writing, editing and formatting skills;
- Proficiency with data entry and editing/formatting skills
- Ability to work independently (strong planning, organization, and time management skills);
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills and problem solving abilities
**Job location**: Remote or in office options are available.
**Job Type**: 3 month contract with the option for extension
**Hours of Work**: 30-40 hrs/week (negotiable)
**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday (flexible). Work at home is available, but in the office is encouraged.
**Education**:
- Science based degree preferred, but not required
