Agricultural Sales Specialist

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible of:
- Gain and maintain market share by creating strong business development strategies
- Monitor and analyze data and market trends to identify competitive advantage
- Actively participate in sales meetings, conference calls, trade shows and events
- Cultivate and develop strong relationships with growers in key markets
- Promote products that support soil health for a sustainable agronomic future and the safety
of the food supply chain
- Provide product and agronomic advice to growers to help maximize crop yields
- Identify key influencers and decision-makers within the customer relationship and develop a
plan of action to deepen the relationship with those people.
- Responsible for retaining current customers as well as developing and attracting new
customers and uncovering new opportunities for additional business
- Utilize sales technology effectively to track progress, update sales goals and track results.
- Keep accurate records, weekly call logs and expense reports.
Required:
- 3+ years experience in a sales environment and technical knowledge of the agriculture and
gardening industry
- Strong understanding of Horticulture Services, farm customers and the agriculture industry
- Strong understanding of the crop inputs business and the significance of supplier
relationships
- Solid understanding of the Canadian agricultural production and farm management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
It is considered an asset if your profession is agronomist.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
