**Training and Development Coordinator (89092)**

**Location: Saskatoon, SK**

**Where the Chemistry Happens**:
This position is responsible for coordinating all training activities for the facility including maintenance of procedures and policies. The Training and Development Coordinator must stay current with business requirements and organizational priorities as well as corporate, site and legislative changes.

**Formula for Success: You Will**:

- Collaborate with external and internal resources to analyze needs, design, develop, implement, document, and measure the effectiveness of training.
- Lead and motivate learners, coach and develop unit/department employees to establish a high-performance culture.
- Assess training needs, translate job requirements into training requirements, organize instructional material both during development and in presentations, including acting as both as Content Owner for the Learning Management System (LMS) Success Factors and SharePoint document management to assign, change and update training requirements as requested by management and ensure accurate and current SOP and forms for all departments that reflect safety, quality and operational initiatives.
- Collaborate with Corporate L&D and peer L&D Coordinators to drive best practices and consistency of training across the site.
- Develop, provide and present all aspects of onboarding and continuous learning and training for site employees.
- Maintain accurate records of employee training.
- Coordinate orientation for New Hires, Contractors and Visitors.

**Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You**:

- BS or Diploma in Business Administration, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Computer Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Trade certification with applicable experience.
- Previous experience (+5 years) working in Management or a Training Coordinator role within a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years’ experience in Environment, Health and Safety best practices.
- Demonstrated history of a high level of interpersonal and analytical skills to establish, meet and exceed SMART goals.
- Ability to suggest continual improvement initiatives by being solution oriented.
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience and training in Adult Education principles and methodology.
