- The City of North Vancouver is the urban core of the beautiful North Shore and has a long-term vision to be “The Healthiest Small City in the World”, with five key priorities to be a City for People, a Resilient City, a Vibrant City, a Connected City and a Prosperous City.- The City of North Vancouver Engineering, Parks & Environment (EPE) department requires a regular part-time Office Support Clerk.**Responsibilities**
- In this role, you will provide a variety of clerical support to the department such as: inputting information into a computerized system; reviewing reports and correcting irregularities and errors; providing information to the public on matters related to Engineering policies, procedures, regulations and operations as well as responding to complaints in person and over the phone; providing reception and word processing services; scanning and maintaining a variety of records and files electronically; ordering and maintaining office supplies and reconciling invoices.**Requirements**:

- The successful applicant must have accurate keyboarding at a net speed of 50 wpm, word processing experience, proven clerical skills, an understanding of Engineering functions in a municipality; experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel, and have excellent attention to detail. Familiarity with Infor Public Sector or other municipal permitting/asset management software is desirable. The ability to deal effectively and courteously with staff and the public is essential, together with a good knowledge of records management and business English and spelling.-
**Compensation**
- $29.48 to $34.63 per hour- (Pay Grade 15 - January 2024 rates)**Hours of Work**
