**Position Summary**:
The Human Resources Coordinator is a professional who completes administrative duties for the human resources department of an organization. They assist HR Business Partner and HR Managers with onboarding, maintaining employee records, aid with payroll processing, and provide administrative support to all employees.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Coordinate the new hire process with hiring managers, and internal departments
- Draft offers of employment, send background check request, and collect new hire document packages
- Host orientations and update records of new staff.
- Enter new hires into the payroll database (Oracle JDE) in a timely manner, and ensure accuracy of new hire information
- Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records.
- Creating and coordinating internal and external communications to support HR initiatives.
- Manage the company training program, process training requests, and seek government grants
- Host training sessions and seminars.
- Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
- Ensure the payroll system is updated as employee requests for changes/updates are sent through (i.e., rate changes, address updates, and promotions)
- Manage the shared HR team inbox, ensure questions are answered, and urgent items are forwarded or actioned
- Update the employee organization charts, and attendance trackers
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Managing internal event organization and coordination, including recreational events and training activities
- Assist with performance management procedures.
- Support other assigned functions.
- Assist HR Business Partner as required

**Education and Experience**
- 1-2 years of experience on a human resources team
- Bilingual - French and English
- Bachelor of Human Resources Management Degree
- Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Exposure to payroll practices.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.

**Résumé du poste**:
Le coordinateur des ressources humaines est un professionnel qui accomplit des tâches administratives pour le département des ressources humaines d'une organisation. Il aide les responsables des ressources humaines à recruter, à tenir les dossiers des employés, à traiter la paie et à fournir un soutien administratif à tous les employés.

**Responsabilités**
- Répondre à toutes les questions ou demandes internes et externes liées aux RH.
- Coordonner le processus d'embauche avec les gestionnaires du recrutement et avec les services internes.
- Rédiger les offres d'emploi, envoyer les demandes de vérification des antécédents et faire la collecte des documents d’embauche auprès des nouveaux employés.
- Organiser et faire les orientations des nouveaux employés et mettre à jour les dossiers des nouveaux employés.
- Faire l’entrée de données des nouvelles embauches dans la base de données de la paie (Oracle, JDE) à temps et s'assurer de l'exactitude des informations relatives aux nouvelles embauches.
- Maintenir à jour les dossiers numériques et papier des employés et mettre à jour le système régulièrement.
- Rédiger et coordonner les communications internes et externes concernant les initiatives RH.
- Gérer le programme de formation de l'entreprise, traiter les demandes de formation et rechercher des subventions gouvernementales.
- Organiser des sessions de formation et des séminaires.
