We focus on Fortune 500 companies in the Financial Services, Pension, Real Estate, and Infrastructure sectors.
The Intermediate Bookkeeper is responsible for providing a variety of external service provider bookkeeping services.
This role will assist with full cycle bookkeeping, payroll, government filings, and general business advice.

**Responsibilities**:

- Bookkeeping up to and including the trial balance, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, cheque runs, and account analysis
- Preparation of client payrolls through the use of online payroll service providers
- Preparation of statutory tax returns (T4, T5, HST, EHT & WSIB)
- Preparation of the year-end accounting working paper package.
- Composing correspondence concerning client engagements Qualifications/Experience:

- Must have a minimum of three to five years of public accounting firm bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel, and a high level of general computer literacy
- Considerable familiarity with QuickBooks, QBO, and/or Xero
- Knowledge of Investment accounting bookkeeping (dealing with portfolios, dividends, capital gains, and the corresponding T3 and T5 work) is a plus.
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities
- Capability to build and sustain solid client relationships
- Capabilities for prioritizing demands and workflow
- Capacity to meet deadlines and function effectively under pressure
- Must demonstrate a strong dedication to quality
- Solid comprehension of business etiquette
- Capable of working effectively in a team environment

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
