**Job Description**:
Reporting to the National Implementation Team Manager - GRS, the
**National Implementation Lead**
**- GRS **will lead the implementation of complex new customers in GRS to deliver an industry-leading, customer-focused service experience to our new Group clients.

**Accountabilities**:

- Participate in finalist presentations
- Prepare and submit implementation documents for new and complex GRS customers that will include project management functions such as: maintenance of implementation plan, facilitate and lead regular touchpoint meetings with internal and external stakeholders, responsible for developing communication plan for plan sponsors and plan members, provide training, etc.
- Expertise in areas such as NRSP accounts, IO accounts, SERPs, RCAs,
- Mentorship of new team members and support to existing team members
- Handle complex advisor / customer inquiries related to the implementation process
- Advanced technical knowledge of system requirements and strong understanding of compliance regulations
- Direct communication with clients / advisors as it relates to the implementation process including progress updates
- Monitor and make recommendations that may lead to pivoting approaches to the overall implementation process.
- Act as liaison between advisors / customers, various Head Office departments and regional sales and service team aligned with the sale
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with advisors / customers and operational partners. Monitor and pivot approaches to developing trends that affect the business model.

**Qualifications and Competencies**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
- 5-10 years in the Canadian insurance and/or financial industry specialized in GRS.
- Passion for service excellence, creating connections with clients, and making a difference.
- Experience leading and championing change initiatives.
- Driven to help design and execute new ideas that will generate an accumulative, competitive advantage.
- Track record of consistently achieving strategic business objectives.
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships both within the organization and customers and advisors.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to help influence thinking and behaviours.
- Expert knowledge of GRS.
- Proven ability to leverage and integrate technology to help improve performance.
- Industry designations such as RPA and CEBS are considered an asset.
- Bilingual (English / French) is considered an asset
