Job Summary:
Gamache Behaviour Consultant is looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, receptive individual to provide ABA consulting services in-home with families. Our ideal applicant will have a background in behaviour analysis and be familiar with behaviour assessment and treatment design.

As an independent contractor, you can create a healthy work-life balance by setting your own hours and determining your caseload and cases.

Under the oversight of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, our Behaviour Consultants are responsible for completing behaviour assessments, designing treatment strategies, coaching families to implement strategies, and monitoring and documenting the client’s progress.

Looking for part time consultant available to work in the East end of Ottawa, as well as other areas if needed.

Required Qualifications:

- Vulnerable Sector Check (ESSENTIAL)
- Diploma in a field related to behaviour science, behaviour analysis, or psychology (ESSENTIAL) (e.g., Autism and Behaviour Science, etc.)
- Undergraduate degree in a field related to behaviour science, behaviour analysis or psychology (PREFERRED)
- BACB Registered Behavior Technician Certificate (PREFERRED)
- 1-2 years experience working in a setting that utilizes Applied Behaviour Analytic processes and strategies (PREFERRED)
- 1-2 years experience working with children and/or adults with autism or other developmental disabilities. (PREFERRED)
- 1-2 years experience working with children and/or adults with mental health or behaviour concerns (PREFERRED)
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (ESSENTIAL)
- Understanding of ABA principles (ESSENTIAL)

Skills Required:

- Ability to tactfully communicate and discuss on-going progress, concerns, and sensitive situations with families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft software programs (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)

An hourly wage ($35-40/hr) based upon demonstrated skills, education, experience, and abilities

It is part-time hour and hours of work may fluctuate as they are dependent on available caseloads.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 2-30 per week

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Some clients need to work on bedtime routines. This can mean working some evenings, sometimes as late as 9 or 10pm. Are you willing/able to work a few evenings in a week ranging in end time from 7-10 pm? The time varies depending on needs and age of client.
