Logistics - Level 1 (Parts Room Inventory Control)

**JOB OVERVIEW**:
Full Time. Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
As a **Logistics L1 (Parts Room Inventory Control)** employee you will be responsible for daily receiving & shipping and inventory management. Your duties will include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Receive, put away parts and update inventory system
- Routine inventory controls-cycle count and full inventory
- Deliver parts to depot technicians
- Pick & Pack of parts/product and preparation to ship
- Creation of courier waybills and other required documentation using internal and various Courier systems
- Data entry of product, shipping/tracking information into various Shop Floor Systems
- Movement of product throughout the warehouse within the required process stages
- Collaboration and communication with internal customer service representatives and others involved in the shipment of products
- Loading of courier trucks either by pallet or package.
- Engage with teammates, vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Detailed visual inspection of product to ensure compliance and accuracy of all quality guidelines
- Maintain communication with peers, leads and management for daily direction on shipping requirements
- Ensure that KPI expectations are achieved on all duties
- Adherence to all internal documented work instructions
- Maintaining a clean and efficient work area
- Collection and removal of trash, excess packaging material and cardboard
- Provide additional backup and/or support within the Logistics teams (Receiving, material handling, etc.)
- Continued development on the competency skillset expectations outlined for the position
**REQUIRED SKILLS**:
- High School Diploma required
- General warehouse experience an asset
- Self motivated and able to work independently and within a team
- Demonstrated ability to follow written instructions and follow a process, from start to finish, accurately and error free
- Ability to perform light maintenance duties
- Able to lift or lower goods up to 50lbs. to or from waist level
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- PC computer skills, word documents and spreadsheet knowledge
