Recruitment Officer (2 positions - contract) Job Reference #202403-01C

**DESCRIPTION**:
Reporting to the Associate Registrar, the Recruitment Officer will implement the national and international programs by:

- Conducting presentations (both in-person or virtual) for prospective applicants, their parents, school officials, fielding questions of a comprehensive and sometimes sensitive nature.
- Contacting high school officials and organizes school visits and travel schedules.
- Assisting in implementation of the on-campus events such as open houses, customized school visit programs, phone campaign, texting campaign, conducting tours and meeting visitors.
- Providing information to prospective applicants, counsellors, parents and others about academic and non-academic concerns related to the Student experience at King’s.
- Building rapport as well as interacting with a range of ages, personalities, cultures and academic backgrounds since the primary responsibility of the position involves communicating with a range of audiences including students, parents, guidance counsellors, principals and other educational colleagues.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (unless identified as preferred)**:
A Bachelor’s Degree (preferably from King’s University)

1-2 years of previous work experience in a similar role.

Knowledge of the Ontario secondary and post-secondary system would be an asset.

Have a good academic record and outstanding interpersonal skills.

Have strong communication, presentation and organizational skills.

Previous experience delivering presentations, ideally to student groups would be an asset.

A valid driver’s licence; the ability and willingness to travel is required.

Some weekend and evening work is involved.

**TYPE OF JOB**:
Contract Full Time - 35 hours per week

**EFFECTIVE DATE**:
August 6, 2024 - November 29, 2024

**SALARY RANGE**:
PSG 10 - $56,646 - $70,927
