We’re looking for our next Research Analyst. Could It Be You?
The Research Analyst will be mainly responsible for conducting research on counterparty credit risk assessment, managing risk exposures for the Securities Lending/Borrowing and Securities Financing transactions, evaluating margin requirements for various financial products, and performing security price verification.

What’s it like working as a Research Analyst at Questrade?
As the Research Analyst, you will closely work with the Research Supervisor, assisting in developing and improving the framework for counterparty credit risk policies and procedures. You will proactively and continuously review and update the status and credit limit of existing counterparties. You will perform price verification and update as well as maintain the pricing models and databases. You will assist with ad-hoc tasks within the Research team.

**In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Counterparty onboarding review and credit limit evaluation
- Ongoing counterparty credit risk exposure monitoring
- Quarterly counterparty status and credit limit review
- Margin requirement recommendations for various financial products
- Pricing of securities
- Equity market surveillance

So are YOU our next Research Analyst? You are if you
- have an undergraduate or graduate degree with an emphasis on finance/accounting field
- have 1+ years of financial industry experience
- You are a Proficient user of Excel, SQL ,VBA and Python
- You have strong writing skills
- You have proven ability to work under a fast paced environment

Additional kudos if you
- Are pursuing your CFA or FRM designation
- Have good financial modeling skills and ability to perform financial analysis
- Have knowledge of IIROC rule 5000
