**Department Overview**
- With offices located around the world, the strength of TD Securities Global Operations and Business Services lies in the diverse and dynamic group of individuals who provide critical infrastructure services that support and/or control the trading, investment and corporate banking functions of TD Securities.
- The Global Futures team is part of Global Operations and Business Services and partners with multiple Sales & Trading teams and other areas within TD Securities globally to mitigate risk for the Dealer and our clients. The team is heavily involved in strategic initiatives and projects, business development and process improvements to optimize efficiency, enhance client service levels and reduce risk.
- Role overview will include the following:

- Manage day to trade differences
- Assist with resolving operational issues by determining appropriate resolution and root cause analysis to ensure the Bank/clients are not exposed to any significant risk, penalty or loss.
- Ensure all outstanding trade confirmations are immediately reviewed and that all actions taken in the confirmation process are clearly and promptly documented in the source system.
- Identify and resolve technology issues, client issues, Sales & Trading issues and failed trades to management accordingly.
- Overall accountability and governance of cash break investigations liaising with clients, correspondent banks, front office and other partners to resolve within procedural guidelines.
- Provide a high level of customer service to our clients acting as a point of contact for clients in relation to the team
- Develop and maintain sound working relationships with our clients and internal groups to ensure a high level of service is provided on an ongoing basis.
- Act as SME to technology and delivery partners to effectively drive change
- Be accountable for own work and sometimes others; act as an escalation point for others in own team
- We are looking for an individual to act as team lead with the desire to develop innovative and strategic solutions. Being able to take initiative with strong leadership skills; including proven influencing, relationship management and client interaction skills. The team is heavily involved in strategic initiatives, business development, and process enhancements to boost efficiency, improve client service levels and reduce risk.

- You identify and execute innovative improvement opportunities; inspire the adoption of new technologies, models and methodologies to enhance productivity, operational effectiveness of the business, and the customer experience, while supporting an effective control environment
- Manage team calendar and cross training to ensure coverage
- You effectively handle crucial and/or high-risk issues, resolving most appropriate and expeditious course for the successful resolution by exercising tact and subtlety and delivering superior customer service
- You ensure the quality of own work while managing a high level of output from the team
- You adhere to strict deadlines, while handling high volumes of work in a demanding environment
- You encourage a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, knowledge of the business, quality, innovation and teamwork

**Job Requirements**
- Ideally 5+ years of progressive experience within capital markets, preferably in a Trade Support role with exposure to and in-depth knowledge of full trade life cycle and Futures operations.
- Knowledge of Executing/Clearinghouse structure and strong payment knowledge
- Excellent relationship management and client interaction skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and due diligence
- Sound understanding of risk processes and methodologies
- Demonstrates a high aptitude in time management of self and others
- Strong working knowledge on Excel and VBA, Python, Power BI & Query and proven implementation of the same.
- Highly developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an inquisitive mindset to question processes
- Excellent analytical, judgement and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently as the senior and coach or guide team effectively.
- A strong team associate with excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task with mínimal direction to meet tight deadlines
