**Brief Overview**:
Métis Nation-Saskatchewan is seeking a strong team player committed to the highest quality administrative service. The Administrative Manager is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of a business for it to run smoothly. These responsibilities include but are not limited to supervising an administration team on developing and improving administrative processes and ensuring an adequate flow of information throughout Métis Nation-Saskatchewan.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interviewing, hiring, and training new administrative staff members.
- Organizing and controlling the operations of all MN-S departments by providing administrative services.
- As a team, create and implement internal administrative policies and procedures.
- Preparing operations briefs for management.
- Maintaining a sufficient inventory of administration supplies.
- Managing and negotiating vendor contracts.
- Ensuring that all electronic data and files are properly safeguarded.
- Responsible for all hotel bookings, travel claims, and car rentals for the MN-S.
- As a team, ensure on-boarding and off-boarding processes and procedures are in place and followed.
- Support the administrative needs of the Deputy Chief of Administrative Transformation
- Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment.
- Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Other duties as assigned by the Deputy Chief of Administrative Transformation

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team and independently.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Valid Driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle are required.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a senior administrative or office manager or other similar level position.
- Recognized course in Business Administration or related studies.
- Advanced computer skills including knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint.

**Additional requirements**:

- Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and access reliable transportation
- Must undergo a Criminal Record Check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$77,681.00 per year
