Scarborough, Canada Coletech Quality Woodworking Inc. Full time

**Purpose**: To quote, project manage jobs, plan, organize and monitor of job progress, activities and maintaining strong, accountable, effective relationships with clients, client representatives, in-house staff, trucking and logistic companies, installers etc. to ensure assigned jobs are quoted, materials requisition confirmed, products manufactured according to spec, packaged, shipped, installed and invoiced on time, within budget and according to Coletech quality standards. To work with clients regarding reasonable order changes to the point of undue hardship. To source & develop new clients and business opportunities.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
Project management of jobs, including:

- Single point of contact with client for all customer-related requests, orders, changes, processes, procedures.
- Solves or resolves all customer concerns, problems or issues immediately in the most cost-effective manner.
- Review client drawings and request for quotation from client;
- Consult with client and Engineering on specifics and installation requirements (e.g. Site dimensions, special considerations of job site, access limitations, dimensions of entrances etc.)
- Do take-offs, entering quantities and descriptions and prepare quotations, with help from Engineering department; check & forward shop drawings to client for approval;
- Modify quote and shop drawings as directed by client
- Initiate sales and work orders, production and shipping schedules as per clients purchase order and final approved drawings.
- Meet with Plant Manager on production requirements, details and timelines;
- Monitor production process and keep abreast of job progress in accordance with client spec, plans and shipping/installation schedule.
- Source, obtain quotes and select installers (as required)
- Liaise with client’s construction representatives and ensure shipping and installers are arranged per requirements
- Monitor site reports, site photographs deficiency lists, daily, as well as final inspection reports ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of all issues.
- Invoice jobs and collect account receivables;
- Communicate regularly with client (Regional Managers, Project Managers etc.)
- Attend meetings on-site or periodically at client’s head office (as required)
- Maintain professional, working business relationships with contractors across Canada and the USA and/or other client locations to facilitate receipt and installation of goods by client or its representatives
- Lead processes to gain new client accounts, including:

- Source potential clients from connections with existing clients, suppliers and others;
- Devise strategies and provide direction and tools (eg. Letters of introduction, brochures etc) to support sales force in approaching and landing new potential clients.
- Arrange and conduct meetings to introduce potential clients to Coletech;
- Lead the team in preparing RFPs to land new business; (Team members, Production Manager, etc.)

**Qualification Requirements**:
Required:

- at least 5 years of comparative project management experience or background in relevant college education program.
- at least 5 years wood/millwork industry experience, working knowledge of materials, tools, equipment etc.

**Purpose of the Position**:To manage custom orders supply and installation components including planning, organizing, monitoring activities and generally tracking progress of project from inception to completion.

To provide oversight on-budget performance and maintain and ensure financial integrity of project throughout.

To manage relationships with in-house personnel; transport and logistics; installers; client’s personnel and maintain strong, mutually beneficial business relationships.

To respond to changes, issues problems that may come into play in a forward-thinking, progressive, responsible and professional manner.

Ensure that jobs are quoted, manufactured, packaged, shipped, installed and invoiced, on time and within budget and according to client requirements & Coletech quality standards.

To source and develop new clients and business opportunities.
