**INTRODUCTION**

As is its accountability, Cyber Security and Risk Management Branch is becoming increasingly involved with Privacy and is responsible for ensuring Privacy Impact Assessments are completed in a timely manner and appropriate privacy guidance is provided to projects, including those involving our critical information assets, when needed. It is evident that, to meet its obligations in this area, Cyber Security and Risk Management Branch requires the services of a Privacy Analyst.
- **Scope of Work**_
- Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments.
- Performing Privacy Maturity Model Assessments, if/when requested.
- Providing guidance to the Branch and its clients on privacy legislation and requirements.
- Supporting breach responses for incidents involving privacy
- Conducting privacy focus groups and/or information sessions.
- Liaise with Government’s Access and Privacy Officers to further strengthen maturity.
- Creating and reviewing privacy policies and procedures, if/when necessary.
- Preparing and delivering privacy training, if/when necessary.
- Other privacy-related tasks as determined through engagement in future initiatives.
- **Qualifications**_
- Completed education and/or work experience in areas such as Business Administration, Computer Science, and/or a related field and/or privacy related certification(s). Consultants should be able to substantiate/ rationalize how their level of education and experience provides equivalency._education and/or work experience_in areas such as **Business Administration, Computer Science**, and/or a **related field** and/or **privacy related certification(s**). - Experience where the consultant was directly responsible for the development and delivery of Privacy Impact Assessment Demonstrated working experience with Federal and Provincial privacy laws and requirements for a complex and/or multi-system technology solution within the last _5 years._
- Past experience with Government of Saskatchewan, or other government entities for other provinces or countries for similar roles.
- Experience with Federal and Saskatchewan privacy laws and requirements.
- Experience developing and delivering Privacy Impact Assessments at a Provincial and/or Federal government level in projects of similar complexity.
- Experience with utilizing a privacy by design approach (or equivalent) to participating in the design and implementation of a solution. Consultant should be able to substantiate/rationalize how their experience provides equivalency if they do not have direct privacy by design experience.
- Experience contributing to the design and assessment of solutions that include biometrics.
- Experience performing research and analysis used to inform recommendations to advance privacy protection.
- Experience reviewing project proposals, initiatives and proof of concepts to identify information access and privacy issues and opportunities (e.g. duplication of data, security and privacy, enhance the quality and use of information).
- Working experience with information security policies, standards, methods, and best-practices.

Experience developing and independently managing work plans and project schedules, providing excellent customer service skills, and ensuring client needs are managed effectively
