**Position Summary and Scope of Service**:

Reporting to the Director, Health & Transition Services and consistent with the Mission, Values and policies of St.Amant, the Manager, Quality, Innovation and Performance is a critical role in ensuring the success of St.Amant business and operations.

The Manager, Quality, Innovation, and Performance is essential in ensuring the clinical care services and quality of life experienced by individuals in H&TS is: person and family-centred, high quality, evidence informed, and in the least restrictive environment possible.

**Qualifications**

**Educational**:

- Bachelor's Degree in health, social sciences, or a related profession required
- Post-secondary training in Management (Business, Health, or Public Administration) is preferred
- Certification in LEAN is an asset
- Certification in Change Management is an asset
- Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience, as deemed recognized by St.Amant, may be considered in lieu of above._

**Professional**:

- Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory/management capacity, preferably in a healthcare environment, is required
- Five years of relevant healthcare experience required; previous experience supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disability, autism, acquired brain injury, and medical complexity is an asset
- Previous experience as a trainer, facilitator and presenter required
- Experience in an acute care environment is an asset
- Knowledge and experience working with clinical care systems and processes
- Skills in group facilitation, conflict resolution and mediation
- Experience handling sensitive patient/family interactions is essential
- An understanding of First Nations peoples and multicultural group issues, customs, cultures, trauma issues and cultural oppression would be an asset
- Current registration in good standing with an appropriate licensing body required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required

**Personal**:

- Knowledge of the history of services to people with disabilities, current trends, philosophies and practices concerning their care, education and lifestyles
- Knowledge and ability to function within the legislation pertinent to practice, including CFS Act, Vulnerable Persons Legislation, and PHIA
- Ability to understand and support and practice interdisciplinary teamwork in order to provide services in the clinical, educational or living environment of the person with a developmental disability
- Strong leadership skills in alignment with St.Amant's core leadership competencies and mission, vision, and values
- Ability to work under pressure, to meet competing demands and deadlines and to deal effectively with difficult and sensitive situations
- Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to think strategically
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated research and analytical expertise
- Demonstrated organizational, planning, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and with individuals from a variety of backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to act in a consultative manner and to facilitate required actions

- Ability to interact effectively with other health care professionals, and all levels of staff
