The Alberta Association of Optometrists provides services to member Optometrists throughout the province. As one of the programs managed by the association, the Eyesafe program, was established over 50 years ago to assist Alberta companies and industry with management of their occupational vision care needs. Eyesafe continues to be the strongest and most popular program of its kind within the province by providing health and vision care products and services directly to the employees of many of the largest companies and industries throughout Alberta.

The Association is currently seeking a full-time **Eyesafe Program Representative (Sales & Business Development) **to support the current program team through a sales and business development focus on new customer opportunities, utilizing B2B solicitation and leads.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Together with the Director of Vision Care Programs, develop and execute an effective sales process that encompasses the entire sales cycle from identifying leads through follow up and after-sales relationship management
- Conduct prospecting of new sales leads using cold calling, inbound leads, and various sales generation methods
- Meet with potential client companies to present the Eyesafe program and discuss how the program can improve and add value to their current vision care safety program
- Assist in the development of marketing and branding strategies to build a strong brand position for Eyesafe
- Utilize a client relationship management system to oversee the sales and business development pipeline
- When required, travel within the province to meet with potential clients and attend trade events
- Establish targets and goals for lead generation and new business while consistently achieving them
- Complete routine administrative tasks when signing on new client companies to the program
- Track and report on business development opportunities, targets, and achievements

**Work Location**: Association Office, Edmonton, AB (approximately 75% of time) Travel within Alberta to support the sales strategy (approximately 25% of time)

**Qualifications**
- Degree or Diploma in business administration or related field with a specialization in marketing or communications
- Demonstrated track record in sales and marketing processes with a minimum three (3) years’ experience in (B2B) Business-to-Business Sales
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office products and CRMsystems
