What will you do?

Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
Talent Acquisition
- Establish screening criteria and developing a scoring matrix for all assessment methods including competency-based interviews.
- Act as an expert on recruitment trends by maintaining and enhancing a network of contacts in the industry, participating in industry events and professional associations.
- Take a consultative approach with internal clients while providing business solutions.
- Identify innovative sources of recruitment.
- Track analytical data regarding all facets of the hiring process, to include sourcing effectiveness, time to hire and other analysis as needed.
- Identify, build and share new processes to increase recruitment effectiveness at Reliance
- Manage and/or participate in HR projects as needed

Campus Events Specialist
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, business leadership and HR to be an active advisor within the campus recruitment space
- Responsible for facilitating in person campus events (i.e.: coffee chats, panel events, in-class presentations, information sessions, career fairs etc.)
- Develop, implement, execute, and measure the success of campus events while managing the campus event calendar
- Manage the full cycle recruitment process for a variety of early talent and summer student opportunities
- Work alongside the Director, Talent Acquisition to develop innovative ideas and strategies to attract early talent in a creative way while staying abreast of industry and campus recruitment trends
- Liaise and manage communications with the various campus career services offices to organize job postings and events
- Conduct phone screens and manage the scheduling of interviews for hiring managers
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on entry level hiring to ensure a coordinated approach to early talent hiring

What do you bring?
- Post-Secondary education and equivalent experience within a talent acquisition / recruitment focused role.
- Minimum 2-5 years of full-cycle recruitment / sourcing experience within the skilled trades industry
- Minimum 1 year experience supporting campus recruitment and early talent programs
- A proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets.
- Strong knowledge base of social media, talent branding and ability to leverage tools to engage and attract passive talent.
- Expertise with Boolean logic and associated internet mining techniques preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building relationships.
- Organized and detail oriented with a pro-active approach.
- Customer centric attitude coupled with a sense of urgency.
- Passion for the business; be an ambassador for Reliance Home Comfort.
- Exceptional communication skills - crisp and articulate verbal skills in addition to effective written communication required.
- Well networked and highly engaging with all stakeholders.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, LinkedIn, Indeed and other online recruitment tools.
