Are you passionate about the automotive industry and have a keen eye for detail? Do you enjoy assessing vehicle damages and determining their value? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you CARSTAR Manotick is seeking a dedicated and skilled Auto Appraiser to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damages and determine their value.
- Conduct thorough research to gather information on vehicle specifications, market values, and repair costs.
- Evaluate repair estimates and negotiate with repair shops to ensure accurate and cost-effective repairs.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, policyholders, and repair facilities to provide accurate appraisal information.
- Prepare detailed appraisal reports and documentation for insurance claims.
- Keep up-to-date with insurance guidelines and policies to ensure compliance and accuracy in appraisals.
- Utilize computer software and industry-specific tools to complete appraisal tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with other team members and provide support as needed.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in auto appraising.
- Possess a valid Class G driver's license.
- Fluent in English, bilingual proficiency in French is considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to insurance guidelines and policies.
